Water Filters for Measurement, Regulation & Filtration
Water filters, filter inserts and filter cartridges available in 5- or 10-inch sizes, with a filtration rating of 60 microns and various internal thread sizes for water and liquid filtration.
Choose by Size, Connection, and Filtration Rating
For the water filters in this category, size, connection, and filtration rating are particularly important. 5-inch variants are available as drinking water filters with a filtration rating of 60 microns; 10-inch variants also list 60 microns. This specification describes the filtration rating stated for the product and provides a clear comparison point between the versions.
Different internal thread sizes are available for connection. The 5-inch water filter has a 1-inch internal thread. The 5- and 10-inch Profec water filters list a 3/4-inch internal thread. All three products are rated for a working pressure of up to 8 bar. These specifications should match the existing connection and intended system.
Filter Housing, Cartridge, or Insert?
A water filter or drinking water filter is listed in the product data as a filter unit with connection specifications. The 5- and 10-inch Profec versions are made of plastic and list a 3/4-inch internal thread, polyester mesh, a filtration rating of 60 microns, and up to 8 bar. A separate filter element, by contrast, is described as a filter insert, filter cartridge, or mesh/screen filter. The Profec insert is specified for the Kleinfilter 5 Zoll type and is made of nylon and polyester mesh. The product type is therefore the first selection criterion: a replacement part for an existing filter system or a filter unit with the appropriate connection.
When water and oil are filtered, the 10-inch filter insert lists both liquids in its product description. The 5-inch Profec insert is also mentioned in connection with aquariums, pools, drinking water, and cooling systems. These applications come from the respective product specifications and do not automatically apply to every variant.

Subcategory and Related Connections
This subcategory brings together the water filters in this range and makes it easier to distinguish filter housings from filter elements.
For connections to pipes, related product groups are available in the categories Fittings + PE Pipe Compression Fittings and Threaded Fittings. The connection parts listed there complement the search for suitable internal thread sizes.
