How to Use the Push Fit Elbow Connector: Step by Step
- Step 1: Cut the Pipe to Length: Cut the pipe to the desired length with pipe shears. Ensure a clean, right-angled cut.
- Step 2: Calibrate and Deburr the Pipe: Use a calibrator to calibrate and deburr the pipe end. This ensures that the pipe is round and has no sharp edges.
- Step 3: Install the Fitting: Insert the fitting with adequate pressure and in an axial direction until it stops on the pipe end.
- Step 4: Check the Insertion Depth: Check the correct insertion depth through the two integrated inspection windows. Both inspection windows must be filled by the pipe.
- Step 5: Test: Check the pipe for a tight fit. It must no longer be able to be pulled out. Be sure to carry out a pressure and leak test!
