- Step 2: Attach the floating ball to the end of the hose. Make sure the ball is free to move to ensure extraction from the top layer of water – See Figure 2.
- Step 3: Connect the other end of the hose to your pump. Use the brass double nipple to achieve a tight connection – See Figure 3.
- Step 4: Lower the hose end with the floating ball into the water. Make sure the ball does not rest on the bottom to avoid contamination – See Figure 4.
- Step 5: Start the pump and check if water is being drawn in. If necessary, adjust the position of the floating ball to find the optimal suction point – See Figure 5.
