Instructions: How to Use the T-Piece
- Step 1: Preparation – Cut the PE pipe with a pipe cutter at right angles. Make sure there are no burrs.
- Step 2: Prepare compression fitting – Loosen the union nut of the T-piece and slide it over the pipe end.
- Step 3: Insert pipe – Insert the pipe end into the T-piece until it stops.
- Step 4: Tighten union nut – Tighten the union nut hand-tight. If necessary, use a pipe wrench, but be careful not to damage the T-piece.
- Step 5: Check for leaks – Check the connection for leaks by running water through the system.
